Rocky Mountain and Solo Highs!

Vista Verde Ranch in Clark Colorado was my choice for Flying Solo Traveler’s first ever solo adventure — and I couldn’t have chosen a better place! The ranch — with its breathtaking landscape, friendly staff, luxury accommodations, plentiful activities, scrumptious food, and 99 horses — far exceeded all of my expectations.

Snow shoeing, ice fishing, fat tire biking, back country skiing, tubing, country line dancing, horse riding clinics, whiskey tasting, leather crafts, large group dinners — it felt much like a camp for adults! And its neighboring town of Steamboat is not to be missed.

I’m still Rocky Mountain High as I fell in love with Colorado and dream of the day when I return to stay.
